Re Soil Foundation will be at Ecomondo (3-15 November), the most important European fair for the Green Economy, with two conferences focused on the theme of soil, on November 4th and 5th.
The 2020 edition of Ecomondo will be a fully digital event and the conferences will be streamed free of charge upon registration on the website: https://www.ecomondo.com/visita/Info/reserved-area.
The first conference “Caring for Soil is caring for Life” and the co-creation of a nature-based European Green Deal will be on Wednesday, November 4th 2020, from 10am to 12.15pm. The web conference will be attended by international and authoritative guests.
Its aim is to show how soil and its regeneration are addressed within the different European policies, to showcase case studies of soil regeneration in Europe and to raise awareness on the importance of soil health.
Catia Bastioli, CEO of Novamont, will speak for Re Soil Foundation.
The second conference, A productive and healthy soil, will be Tuesday, November 5th 2020, from 2pm to 4:15pm. The conference is organized by the Ecomondo Scientific Technical Committee, by the National Technological Cluster of green chemistry SPRING in collaboration with the Re Soil Foundation. It aims to show the activities in the fields of scientific research, technology transfer, training and dissemination and the creation of awareness, aimed at protecting soil health and its quality. The event will be moderated by Guido Saracco, Dean of Politecnico di Torino and Paola Adamo, President of the Italian Society of Soil Science.
Catia Bastioli will participate with a keynote speech to illustrate the activities carried out within the European Mission Soil health and food.
