Un’analisi del Centro Comune di Ricerca Ue mostra che i Paesi europei dovranno investire, prima del 2100, fino a 2,8 miliardi di euro all’anno. Solo così possono sperare di non perdere fino a 1,27 trilioni a causa dei cambiamenti climatici, delle inondazioni e dei conseguenti danni alle coste.
Dal 1° gennaio sono in vigore regole più stringenti sull’esportazione di rifiuti e sul calcolo dei tassi di riciclo. Risultato: l’obiettivo Ue del 50% di plastica riciclata entro cinque anni si allontana. Ridurre l’uso e la produzione di materiali plastici diventa ancora più urgente.
