Sixty-two actions completed, 24 still ongoing, 4 withdrawn. This is, for the moment, the track record of the European Union’s Soil Strategy 2030<\/strong> initiatives. A new tool made available by the EU Commission’s European Soil Data Centre<\/strong> (ESDAC) tells the tale: the Soil Strategy Policy Tracker<\/a><\/em>, \u201cdesigned to track the progress of these concrete measures and actions.\u201d<\/p>\n The resource makes it possible to check the progress of projects launched to \u201cprotect and restore soil<\/strong> by ensuring its sustainable use,\u201d setting a vision and targets to achieve this by mid-century \u201cto achieve healthy soil by 2050, with concrete actions by 2030\u201d The Strategy<\/a> is supported in turn by the EU Mission<\/strong> A Soil Deal for Europe<\/a>, which aims to create 100 Living Labs and Lighthouse Farms<\/strong>, the research and innovation facilities<\/a> for soil health.<\/p>\n
