one of the few examples of Korean Natural Farming, embedded in a permaculture design that allows the maintenance of productive, stable, biodiverse, and consequently resilient and natural agricultural systems using macerated and fermented preparations of different plants. La Scoscesa has restored 9 ha of difficult terrain and brought it back to horticultural production, allowing for increased water infiltration into the soil, restoring surface water tables and increasing soil fertility in a hilly environment.<br \/>\nLorenzo Costa, the young farm manager, is engaged in communication and training activities of reduced-impact techniques and &#8220;water management&#8221; and participates in thematic podcasts. He also collaborates with the University of Florence, helping to bring cultural biodiversity to an area almost exclusively affected by grapevines.<br \/>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        \n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lpxx5drq-676e490edea9740764cb6310c144f6f6 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>SOIL DESCRIPTION<\/strong><br \/>\nLa Scoscesa, a farm located among the hills of the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, is characterized by soils with many limiting characteristics. The young manager of the farm has been working to recover marginal and abandoned land and to optimize the space and techniques used, developing the rotation of promiscuous and complementary polycultures as an excellent solution to protect and increase animal and plant biodiversity.
